I keep many pics on my hard drive - I previously had to use several DVDs to back them up, so I put it off way too long. The little Passport changed all that. It worked fine on a USB 2.0 port and transferred 26 GB in about 54 minutes. I can live with that speed. I used Windows Explorer - not the software that came with the Passport.
