This item works as advertised and it is a great solution for external storage.
Pros:
- Plug and Play (tested in XP Professional and WD TV)
- Small
- Easy start up
Cons:
- Gets hot
- Delicate, don't drop it. The plastic case doesn't provide good protection
- A carrying case was not included
- A better documentation could be provided. I have seen the drive is kept active even if the WD TV is turned off.
