I just got mine and I can't say enough good things about. No external power required, 500 Gb (OMG), all my music, all my videos, all my pictures, all my documents, and still plenty of room to spare. The people who complain about the speed must be using USB 1.1 because the speed on USB 2.0 is great. USB 2.0 is ten times faster than USB 1.1. It is a little larger than a pack of cigarettes but half the thickness. Fits nicely in a shirt pocket.
