I read negative reviews and apparently many folks don't realize ANY brand hard drive may fail, particularly if abused. Hard drives are more fragile than USB keys. Follow the tech news and you realize all brands sometimes fail.
I have two, one is a duplicate of the other. NEVER trust data to one hard disk!!! Both work perfectly, I just know one may fail someday, maybe I'll bang it too hard or drop such a small device when I pick it up it the USB cable.
Getting upset that you lost all your data just means you were not careful with that data ;(
