The first hard drive buy.com sent was a dud. My computer couldn't connect to it cause it kept crashing (it would connect and disconnect from my computer probably about 30 times in a minute) I sent it back to buy.com and they sent a new one that has worked great and fast. It scratches really easy though - just by looking at it.
