I bought this drive for my new macbook to swap the two drives. It is pretty easy to pull this apart, it is done like a book in a way. The front got a few scratches on it but it stays in a laptop sleeve anyway. I have no comment on the software included because i immediately formatted it but it works perfect and transfers plenty fast to watch HD movies off of it.
