I brought this hard drive for storing and transferring my data. It works pretty well with my Dell laptop.
Pros:-
1. very small and handy
2. no additional power needed
Cons:-
1. Slightly slow in data transfer rate, it took about 20 minutes for transferring 20 GB of data)
2. the USB cable is slightly small
Haven't used the sync software hence no comments on that Get more detail about Western Digital My Passport Essential 500 GB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive WDME5000TN (Midnight Black).
