I love the WD "My Passport Essential". This device is so easy to use and ultra portable, I highly recommend it. I use it to store my photos and music on so that I have more room on my computer which makes it work faster! I have gotten a second WD Passport and keep it in a fireproof safe. I update the one in the safe at least once a month. I have a friend who has a third one that he keeps at his parent's house for that "just in case something happens". I haven't done that yet but as I get more and more photos (15,000 so far and another grandchild will certainly add to that!) I am considering a third one to keep at the office.
