So far, this has been a great HD. Small, quiet, sturdy and sleek. Plus it matches the gloss black HP laptops nicely. Just don't bump it while it's working as that will most likely decrease its lifespan, but that goes for any HD. The white light is kind of bright, but not unbearable if faced to the rear.
While I am quite impressed with its looks and functionality, I can't give it 5 stars due to it's slower transfer rate than my Seagate FreeAgent drive. The transfer rate is not gawd-awful, but it is noticeably slower, perhaps because it is USB powered.
