I've had a 320G version for several years now that I'm quite fond of, and I just purchased a 500G version since the other got filled with pictures and music. The USB cable on my older version came apart due to some abuse on my part, but it was easily stuffed back together. I would rate this device very highly in terms of durablity and performance.
