My Western Digital Passport is doing exactly what I wanted it for.
I had several people tell me not to use the software that comes with it.
From what I have found this was a good suggestion. Just treat it like any other drive.
The biggest CON I have for this unit is the USB cable sent with it -- It is too short. They need to include a 3ft cable. Get more detail about Western Digital My Passport Essential 500 GB USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive WDME5000TN (Midnight Black).
