The Hard drive is working great as expected with WD. It does not require any installation and is detected and works quietly. It was a good bargain at the time I bought and it is still better now. Requires no adapter and we can carry it in our pocket. I like the way WD remodeled these passport drives from the older passport drives[over an year]. Even though it is only a minute change, the new look is cool.
I am using in with vista which may say that it is installing software for the new device when we use it the first time, but it happens only for the first time and doesn't take even a minute. It also happens with any other hard drive out there in the market. Definitely not something to worry about.
