Great portable hard drive. The thing is small, feels sturdy, transfers data quickly and required absolutely no setup. The drive has some pre-installed software it wanted to activate but it seemed very slow after trying it so I just uninstalled and use SyncToy on my PC to keep the thing synced to my master data folders. Have used it to transfer data as a straight up hard drive between desktop PC (Win/Ubuntu), Macbook Pro (automatically pops up asking if you want to use as Time Machine backup but I don't use that), and Mac Pro computers, all worked without a hitch.
