I bought mine for $130, and that being said this 500gb portable external was a DEAL. That being said, the transfer speeds are slower than expected, but not too bad. It may be because of the smaller usb connection to the actual hard drive, but I dont really know. Also, it says 500 gb but its really only about 460 availiable.
