I got it only to find out that the drive would not work without purchasing a separate power booster USB cable from Western Digital. This is because my Mac Powerbook G4 has USB 2.0 drives that don't provide enough charge to power the drive. Before I bought the drive I made sure to look at the specific requirements and was glad to see I had the right version of Mac OSX for the drive, so needless to say I was quite annoyed to find out that I had to buy something else (that isn't that easy to find). Definitely a frustrating experience with this product.
